Final Day – State Fair!

Pancakes for breakfast and on the road again. Stopped for coffee in Pacific City and some early morning photos. How cool is a place where you can drive right onto the beach?!

We drove the few hours to Salem where we checked into a hotel and arrived at the Oregon State Fair just as it opened.

}My keyboard is suddenly not working well (inserting weird characters?!) So I wo[n't tybe much ]more, I’ll just post the photos. It was a gREAT fair at a reasonable price, we saw animals, we ate WAY too much and paid for it later (Kelsey was vomiting in the night!) but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Kelsey decided to get her ear pierced, I made sure everything was sanitary and autoclaved.

Saw a neat dog show, the dogs had to jump really high and grab the toy, then fell into a pool of water.

What a menu! (The apples were delish). I told Kelsey to try the deep fried twinkie, but she said she had only ever tried a twinkie once and didn’t see how deep frying it could improve it any.

This was funny….they really wanted to talk to Jorden, must have had to do with the Bad Religion shirt he was wearing….

While I was in the restroom and Kelsey was not noticing, JOrden started snapping some photos of her eating….her reaction when she notices is funny!

A fun, fun way to end another great trip!
