Today we grabbed a cab to the Museum of Natural History (just like in the movie! Night at the Museum!!). It is absolutely humongous, but we got tired of walking pretty quick. The displays are amazing.

Evolution of man?

What a cute couple:

Amazing carving:
I recognize this place from somewhere:

Beautiful, a chinese bride:

Okay, I laughed long and hard at this one. These were different depictions of cities around the world. Well, I guess some curator thought it would be funny to include the Genie in the arabian city diorama..and it was!

Japanese Geisha minus her makeup:

Various:

Dum Dum want gum gum!!!

(had to have seen the movie to get that)
This one cracked us up for some reason…we’re so immature!

Okay, check out these crowds in the lobby as we left…nuts!!!

Outside:

Okay, get out of my photo buddy!!

We decided to cross over to Central Park and walk down to the Dakota’s where John Lennon was assassinated.

I recognize this from various movies:

Katie Holmes apparently lives here, in case you want to pay a visit:

Photo time!

Jorden wouldnt smile of course…until I stuck my long nails next to his jugular and told him I was going to sink them in if he didn’t smile…that made him laugh a bit! (you can see my nails on his neck..hahahaha)

Lunch?

John Lennon’s assassination spot. Yoko Ono still lives here. IT is very surreal to be here:

We then crossed over for a short visit to Strawberry Fields in central park, an area created in memory of John by Yoko after his death:

We came across this guy and appreciated his honesty, to the tune of $5.

Time to head to the subway.

We got off the Subway somewhere around Bryant Park where half the world was figure skating.

We then walked to Grand Central to see the laser light show and grab some photos:

We then went back to the hotel after stopping for various movie munchies and ordered two movies on pay-per-view in our room.
The shot of the beggar is outstanding photography! The light, especially the drop illuminating his tooth, is very artistic. You really have a talent, Leasa!
